thx Zev!
I am super picky about T-shirts for not a lot of good reason. I hate [most] women’s ones because they are too short and too low cut. Little boys shirts are too small across the chest. Men’s shirts are just too big usually.
That said, I have found a couple T-shirts I would like to sing the praises of:
1. Gapbody shirts, in which I go a size up in Women’s
These are my top pick, mostly because they are a good length and the material is a more grown up/quality knit. They are at the top of my price range for a T-shirt at $19.99 but I really like them. Maybe try their Men’s shirts, too. I think they come in smaller/bigger sizes than stores through the website, which is helpful!

2. Everlane, Men’s, true to size
Ok, ok I don’t actually own one of these, but N does and it looks amazing on her and is so snuggly all I ever want to do is cuddle her in it (biased) and/or steal it from her from the clean laundry pile.
3. Target “Boyfriend” (eyeroll here) T-shirts
Main complaint about these is actually that they are women’s and super long (as most “boyfriend” items are) but the V is nicely shaped. The heather-y knit does not lend itself well to wearing to work under a blazer or sweater but they’re great for casual/weekend days.

I find T-shirts to be an annoying item to buy, because it’s so unexciting. A new bowtie or buttondown is just so fresh and ready to be complimented but a T-shirt is so basic that it usually goes unnoticed. Good basics are definitely important though!
Those work for me, but does anyone else have suggestions for Zev?
